Pool Membership Fees:

Our pool at Physical Edge South is an indoor warm water therapy pool. The size of the pool is 11’x 25’ and its depth is 4’-4.25’. The temperature is kept between 88-92 degrees. Membership to the pool includes access to aquatic group exercise classes and independent use of the pool. In order to use the pool independently, members must make a reservation in advance with our front desk staff.   Reservations are taken in thirty minute increments and members can schedule up to three reservations at a time. Once a reserved time is used, another reservation can be made.

There is an extra charge to members for use of the pool.
The extra charge is:

  1. Additional $10 monthly charge for Single, Student and Senior memberships
  2. Additional $15 monthly charge for Couple or Senior Couple memberships
  3. Additional $20 monthly charge for Family memberships
    (Includes access to group classes and independent use)

Please note: Swim America provides supervised swim classes for children between the ages of 4 months – 3 years in this pool.  However, the pool may not be used recreationally for children.  The pool is intended for persons 14 years and older. 

Hours of Operaton:

Monday – Friday
7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Members may reserve and use the pool without the need of an attendant. If a wheelchair lift is needed, please speak with the front desk staff in advance of your reservation so that a staff member can be of assistance. 

Off Hours Operation Policy:

Monday – Thursday
5:00am – 7:00am and 6:00pm –10:00pm

Friday
5:00am – 7:00am and 6:00pm – 9:00pm

AND

Saturday
7:00am – 7:00pm

Due to safety concerns, members may reserve and use the pool only if they have an attendant that will accompany them (either in the pool or on the pool deck). A wheelchair lift is not available during these hours of operation.


GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES:




Flex & Move - Level 1
Tuesday & Thursday
10:30-11:30 a.m.

Instructor: Ali Battig & Lauretta Hyatt-Chan

Enjoy the benefits of greater freedom of movement, improved function of daily activities and decreased pain.  Gently move your joints from head to toe through range of motion exercises; you will bend, flex and rotate while supported by warm water.  This class is a low to no impact class with emphasis on postural awareness, core development, controlled movement and mobility.  If you are new to either aqua fitness or regular exercise, or you are recovering from an injury or have poor balance, this class is a friendly place to start getting fit. 


Wet & Wild Workout - Level 2
Monday, Wednesday
10:30-11:30 p.m.

Instructor: Ali Battig & Lauretta Hyatt-Chan

Make waves while you tone, strengthen, and stretch your muscles in the pool.  Combine water walking, jogging, rebounding and suspension with a healthy beat and a dash of enthusiasm to improve your fitness.  We will use water resistance, hand buoys, aqua noodles, partners as well as static stretching to build muscle mass, develop stability, increase endurance and gain flexibility.  All major muscle groups will be worked for a comprehensive and safe workout.  This class is designed for people comfortable with exercise and with the water.  Make a splash.


Group Exercise Class

Wednesday , Friday
8:00-9:00 a.m.

Join a long-time group of participants as they tone and strengthen their bodies in the water. The class is organized and led by the participants. Please join in the fun.
